Anxious to see replay of what actually happened While you were sniffing around at my rear axle I missed 5th, which was the deceleration you didn't expect and the contact happened, unlucky timing from both of us I guess Ahh, that makes sense. I was so shocked when it happened Bummer for both of us, but better luck next time! Peace

I picked medium tyres for the race. I couldn't even keep them in operating temperature. There was almost no tyre wear, but they simply didn't work. I went to pits for softs halfway through the race and suddenly went almost 1,5s a lap faster. I pushed like crazy for the last 10 laps, did one PB after another, but it wasn't enough. Brian simply went by before we reached Tosa for the last time. I won't lie, it was a bitter pill to swallow. Talking about Luke - wow. Just wow. That was super impressive. He's able to unlock the full potential of the car and fight like a lion. Hats off If it makes you feel any better, I thought you were driving like a beast when I caught you. I had my eye on gaps to you and others all race as I was trying to come from soooo far back. So when I finally caught and struggled for a few laps to get by you, I thought, "Damn, Petr is really wringing that things neck!" I had the perfect amount of momentum out of last corner and when I caught you down the straight, otherwise you had me beat. Both Footworks were awesome! You guys are really dragging those anchors up the field. Too bad about your early tires, it disguised the quality of your race.

My cronicle is quick, a horrible driving and consistency for me, I need to go to the driving school again. Congrats to the podium, all who finished the race and especially my teammate who would have scored if it hadn't been for his touch on the first lap, great race. And also thanks for the broadcast

Again great racing it was. For this race I hoped for T10 at the start and to get 1 point at the end. It was a nice surprise to place my car at the 5th place at the grid. But honestly I realised that there are drivers with more experience and with more completed GPs than myself behind me, and they will get me sooner or later. 5th at the start, but surprise, surprise- started well for my stadards and got clean pass for the 3rd place Sadly Ray got some bad luck and has to serve a drive thru penalty. This made me drive at 2nd position The car wasn't very nice to drive before the Ferrari V12 burned half of the fuel. So untill the first pitstop there were some corners I drove more defensively. Even with the warmed up tyres, there was a good chance of loosing the car due to weight it carried. Also I noticed that should add some one single degree at the front wing. I believe that it wouldn't affect the top speed at all but would get me more mid corner speed. From some pre race tests I knew, that my pitstop time may vary from 11 to 19 seconds. With Anders being more less one second behind me thru all those laps, it would make a great difference in our situation on the track. Thankfully, the pitstop was great - 12 secs, with Anders crew being some 3 seconds slower. That gave me a bit of a gap and also with Grant's misfortune at the Aqua Minerale exit, I led the GP for the Minardi team Anyway at the closing stages of this GP I knew that Ray and Anders will get at my gearbox within a few following laps. But as I used to, didn't wanted to sell my lead for a cheap, so tried as hard as possible to keep quick and precise. At this point i drove at 102% of my pace. The only difference between this drive and Q hotlapping was not using power shifts. Small error at the last chicane was a relief. I even overreved the engine while setting the car towards normal direction. At this point I took a deep breath and read the gap to Anders Jordan- 9 seconds. With some 10 laps to go, it would be simply stupid to try to close this gap. But hey- 3rd in a Minardi M191 ? I takie it Thanks for the racing guys, finally got myself at the end of the full GP race. See you again at the next race. Thanks to our broadcast crew Jason, Jonathan and Juha for a great live commentary . Ofcourse I didn't cared what time I'll go to sleep, as watching it after the race was mandatory .
