After reviewing the qualifying and race replay, the admins have decided that:
David Sabre receives a warning for collisions with Richard Wilks and Jonatan Åcerclinth on lap 1 in race 1.
Ray Riddall receives a warning for a collision with Alberto Iquino on lap 1 in race 1.
David Wattman receives a warning for a collision with Ricardo Mendes on lap 1 in race 1.
Jules Bouchard receives a warning for a collision with David Wattman on lap 1 in race 1, resulting in another collision with Simon Wattman, and rejoining in an unsafe way after this incident.
Niklas Kirsten receives a warning for a collision with John Thim on lap 1 in race 2.
Cláudio Augusto receives a warning for a collision with Robin de Vos on lap 9 in race 2, resulting in two further collisions with Alberto Iquino and Fernando Porteiro.

Any further incidents caused by the above drivers may result in grid penalties or (suspended) race suspensions. For drivers without a full time ride in the 1996 BTCC, these penalties and suspensions may be applied in other series or races.
The admin team is requesting all drivers to take more care in the opening laps on future races. Despite our repeated warnings, the number of incidents caused by ill-judged braking distances and/or overtaking attempts into the first chicane was excessive.
