Also I meant to only bring this whole thing forward and pitch it to the big guns on top when everything was ready and only physics would have to be adjusted but..since I really just don't have any clue and I don't want this to fail because of such a small-ish thing, I decided to put it up here. I also have made a discord channel where all the progress (and finished add-on cars, heh..) are shown and documented: discord.gg/caEf6XM or discord.gg/E5zGPSX

Uhhhhh.... yeah that issue do be fixed now. TL;DR: Two polygons. Per headlight. Crashed rF1 and made me lose about a quarter of my hair. a Anyway, this gave me a good laugh and a "NANI" moment, and I hope whoever may read this gets a laugh out of it too. Maybe a face palm. Maybe both. So, after switching physics, tyres, cockpits, you name it, I finally, through 10 minutes of clear, uninterrupted thinking, found the solution to my problem. It was, in total, four polygons. So, let's have a look at the Porsche 935-76 headlights and compare them to the Ferrari 512BB-LM, which is the car I looked at right now to see where I may have gone wrong. They consist of your usual round triangle arrangement, all good so far. However, the magic happens in the wireframe of the models. There is one key difference. The Porsche 935-76 headlights have two more polygons per side, around the round headlight structure. Why, I don't know. But the 512 doesn't have 'em. Image: So, I had a little think. Why don't I just try removing those, in total, FOUR polygons, and see if it works? And..bada bing bada boom, the car loads in with no crashes, no problems, nothing! Safe to say the palm of my hand had a very rapid meeting with my face.
I spent the best part of a week and a half to try and pinpoint the cause of this issue, and in the end it was only a couple of bytes of 3d data that crashed a game that probably cost millions of dollars to develop.
You guys can stop laughing now.
All I gotta do now is adjust the projector XYZ, and then that's done and finished.

The main problem with that car, yes it looks gorgeous but it has a shitload and a half polygons. It will bring your PC to its knees as soon as you load a full grid with that thing on it.

Actually, I'll be completely honest Alberto, the K3/80 I'm working on has almost half the polygon count of its 935-76 counterpart.. 25856 vs. 40700 - so I'm pretty sure I'm safe on that front However, the car doesn't have any LOD models, so there's that..

After that was done, Filippo again provided me, this time with a whole skin and folder pack of the Porsche 930 #95 entered by Alain Gadal - that yellow beauty was in within a matter of minutes.
That was done by me! Uploaded to NoGrip back in the day originally.
