After half of the fuel burns of i could not control the car any longer all related to my equipment also related to this I'm abuse the tires way to much! i had Hard tires all 4 but were destroyed after 20 laps! -------------- @richard wilks Hards should hold a full race like in real life , or are they still too soft cannot believe to destroy them after 20 laps! ?many used hards i saw so im curious ------------------- Coxon's medium tires lasted 30 laps, so its definitely possible to not pit ever with Hards if one is carefull enough in a track that is not so demanding on them.

For me 1 stop. Hard rear and medium front. How was the tire temps for you? I ran hard front, medium rear. I only lasted 8 laps but the temps were very good.

First of all, apologies to Luciano for the incident, its my responsibility to check traffic before rejoining. Second: I know it was meant in good spirit, but T3 is not a good place to let a car pass. So, for the rest of the race weekend, started alright, got a little better, went from bad to worse, got better, ended with a bang. A little more detailed, Q was okay, but I couldn't get stuff together once again, missing out over two seconds. 9th was okay nontheless. Reaction and initial start was actually pretty good, but then I choked off the engine a little. Intention was to go with minimal boost for the first half of the race, but by lap 12, I had saved enough to go one click up. Pace was still a bit off, but I settled in 7th position, as a few peeps had to quit early. I got in a good rhythm, faster than the guy behind me, but to slow to get closer to the guys in front of me. Then in lap 26, disaster struck when I got tangled up lapping another car (T3, you might have guessed it). Tried to rejoin the race, but then Luciano came by, clipped my car and lost a wheel, I lost the front wing and the front right was bent. I crawled back to the pits and after nearly two minutes in the pits and two laps down, I was released in tenth position. Infuriated, I cranked up the boost and started chasing the cars in front of me, soon I was back in 8th (fun battle with Jason Whited!), then some more cars dropped out in front of me, I was in sixth, had already unlapped myself from Grant and was chasing him. Nearing the end of the race, I was behind him, but he defended well in his Tyrrell and I couldn't pass him. Five laps to go and I was tucked under his wing going on the start/finish straight, I missed a gear, not once, but twice, and that was too much for my french power pack. I'm a bit dissappointed now for having had to quit the race so late, until then the car was truly a dream, but I probably drove to hard for an extended period to make up for the lost time, as my plan was to drive the race in a rather defensive manner. Balance was awesome, maybe a little to loose on the rear with less fuel and a bit slow early on, but else I was pretty happy, and the laptimes late in the race didn't seem to be terribly far off. Whom do I have to bribe for a season ride in the Lotus?

Very cool! DNFs 8? 7? finishers? dont remember. Surely the attrition will improve as we all adapt, so not alarmed by the lack of finishers Tires wear rate seemed reasonable to me, prob <30% left of hards at lap 30 Would be good to have more compounds available during Q session to have the freedom to do whatever you want during the session with unlimited laps, but knowing it determines grid. Believe that is how it was. Not as organized as today Engine Despite only using max boost 3 times on back straight, I'm Not too Surprised that I blew motor. I missed a several shifts and hung onto 3rd gear too long too many times. Not much else to say, Fun fun Happy to see Keke Chacon cross the finish line before anyone else And that name has a great ring to it! Credit to Jundt

This mod is outstanding , it was a fuel starvation race as in RL. I'didnt looked at the tacho as much as on the calculated laps dial. It was more necessary to manage tyres and fuel while pay enough attention to driving. My mid-race pitstop was pretty standard with 14 s. for all tyres. I was wondering through the first 31 laps how much time my randomly generated pitstop would take, but it came out pretty standard. I'd say racing was never so colorful and exhausting as tonight Thank you very much ISO modding team, you've created a masterpiece And then Bruno jumped out at very last laps- congratulations to you mate, well deserved win

For me 1 stop. Hard rear and medium front. How was the tire temps for you? I ran hard front, medium rear. I only lasted 8 laps but the temps were very good. I hardly let the temperature of the tires on the right side pass 100 °. It was difficult to control the turbo, because it could go faster. In the end, I had fuel to go around 1 more lap.

I blew the engine with 10 laps to go. Once I saw how many engines just went, I did my utter best... to kill mine. I got what I wanted when it said goodbye on the back straight, revving high in 6th gear. The things one does for research purposes.
Thanks to everyone who joined us tonight.

What an amazing mod! I tested several cars and they all behaved well in my opinion. The option for McLaren was more for the management of the engine temperature, although my setup did not allow going very fast on the straights. The car was very balanced when braking and making corners very fast. As I said, I used the hard tires at the rear and they only lasted 31 laps, I stopped them with almost no rubber. The mids behaved well in the front, it was the option that I found to lower the temperature of the right front in relation to the soft tires. If I have this car in the whole championship, I will be very happy, because I worked hard this year with the Williams 91 and I didn't even manage to score 1 point in the entire championship. Congratulations to the developers of the perfect mod. Congratulations to the entire ISO team for the brilliant work they do year after year.

First of all, apologies to Luciano for the incident, its my responsibility to check traffic before rejoining. No problem ... it happens. I also broke a wheel but during the pit stop the engine went out, so I don't know if that would happen even if our accident hadn't happened. Race was great and the mod is spectacular !!!

great mod, great race. as expected, was a lot of managing of fuel and tires, nice to see multiple strategies work out. i went for a 2 stop, and might have worked out if i didn't have a few slips.
grats bruno for the win!
on the grid, before formation lap, rear tires were building heat while sitting still. the left rear ended up about 10 deg hotter than the right rear, about 101/91. i think a couple people had this that were on ts, not sure if goodyear/pirrelli dependent.

I noticed a similiar thing, when I was on the track and parked the car for about 40 min and was only standing still The Rear left had like 14 deg more temp then the rear right at the end

By the way, just one of my goals in this weekend I achieved... Qualify at Top 6.
Gongrats to Bruno, that I send a private message early. He is struggled to get a good result since a long time, and Ray Riddal by the Pole Position achieved in the last minutes.

Thank you all who took part in this test race for us. The final version of this mod will probably have some changes, physics wise and graphical, but not too drastic, just to improve the product, and more closely reflect reality and our standards of it. We hope to see you here all again to give the final version a shot, and race with us in the full championship. As you could see already, it pays off to be there in the end, so i hope that lesson was also learned

I only worked on a race setup, and started way back... out of harms way, I was hoping! :-) Moved up several places, stayed out of trouble mostly, and then lost it around halfway? Great fun! Can't wait for more.
Apologies to Richard Coxon... I bumped you off of a corner... That was all me, and I'm sorry about that. Nice save, btw!
