Unfortunately, the high number of interested drivers meant we were unable to give a car to all people who asked for one. However, this does not exclude the drivers who missed out on a full season ride from taking part in the championship, and acquiring a car later in the season. In most races, there will be 3 one off cars available on first come - first served basis, plus the cars of those who are unable to attend that race. The race threads will be opened on Sunday nights 2 weeks prior to the race, with a days notice for the exact hour on which he thread will open. We understand some of you feel disappointed. Those wishing clarification about not getting a car can PM Juha Bos or Richard Coxon. This was a complicated but exhaustively studied process, and we are open to explaining the choices to anyone affected. The entry list thread will be updated tomorrow (Sunday) morning, with the driver names shown in the video below. The first race thread will be posted at the same time. The one off cars for race 1 will be available tomorrow (Sunday Jan. 10th) when the thread is opened at 22H00 CET, after the DRM race.
In a tribute to the original 1986 season review, which was narrated by Clive James at his poetic best, ISO presents the F1 entry list in this video (English subtitles are available):

I shall point out that the biggest Criteria used for allocating cars was attendance in the last years F1 season we did. So people with more races attendend got preference.

I am surprised by the presentation of the pilots. Amazing.
Unfortunately I was on foot but it is part, hehehe .... Now we have to keep an eye on the market to see if any vacant cockpits arise.

Clive James narrated the 1982, 1984 and 1986 season reviews, but only the last one has this introduction. His race reports were just as funny. I’ll post a few of them tonight in the Motorsport Videos thread. I admit it’s an acquired taste though.
I love his humour, and some of it isn’t that obvious at first sight. His comment after the Tio Pepe sherry sponsored Spanish GP that “Sherry being unsprayable, it was a dry podium.” sounds nothing special, until you find the wordplay.
When the decision fell about doing the 1986 season, I actually bought those 3 reviews for the narration alone because I wanted to see the full season with his narration. Sure, they were handy for the skins I had to paint, but I obviously didn’t need 1982 and 1984.
I’m glad you all enjoyed it. I doubt I’ll make it a yearly tradition, I just wanted to pay tribute to the era and the straight-out-of-MS DOS graphics weren’t too complicated to recreate.

I shall point out that the biggest Criteria used for allocating cars was attendance in the last years F1 season we did. So people with more races attendend got preference. I understand the car allocation criteria, is logic I will try the one offs because I love this mod and I will like to participate in the most possible races. I will try tomorrow to get a one off but at time election I will be literally in the air so I hope to get on time, and if not, I will be training in the server when able

Hello everyone, this is my first post and participation here at this forum, after hearing great things about the championships here and knowing other participants: Alan Santo, Bruno Pagiola, Luciano Rocha, and Mike Olson. I was wishing to have a seat for Hockenheim but I believe I'll have to wait a little longer, no problem. Sundays are hard for me to race, and I'll keep my eyes at the forum and practice during the week. Who knows? I've been racing online for 16 years now, started with Nascar 2003. Thanks for this space and opportunity, and have a great German GP!!!
