When I select the superspeedway configuration and install it, the car appears in the showroom without the extra front wing. When I go to the track, the extra front wing is present in the car. Is there something wrong or is it really supposed to be?

No, that is OK. The config for this track is "500 miles" even if the race is shorter but the track type is the same. Indy, Ontario and Pocono all have this same config. The game enforces the correct config in any case. The config with no front wing will appear only at Michigan and Texas.

I am trying to download the track, but neither chrome nor edge allow me to download it, Guess I need to use a third browser...
As this is a high-speed track, I guess we'll be running in the top gear most of the time.
Thus I might be okay to race, I'll try to bind gear change&co. to the keyboard since my Ascher wheel rim is still having issues and I haven't been able to resolve them with Ascher Racing yet.

Just wish I could tell why my wheel rim is suddenly recognised by Win10 under devices as bootloader... the button box config tool thus also doesn't recognise the wheel itself and you can't use the buttons I asked Ascher to send me the newest soft/firmware, in case that could solve it.

Of course Just saying he doesnt need to be concerned with a reaction similar to Spain Equipment probs are bad enough as it is. Oh yes I don't, because trying to find a resolution would be much more welcome. Since, you know, being frustrated yourself not being able to race thanks to a 1k wheel rim is just as unfortunate as someone else that could've possibly raced instead. There are always two sides/views to something. Abd thanks to that, I could lose my rides even though I am basically not really absent, rather suffering mechanical gremlins And that's why I mentioned my issue when we are on the tpic of equipment probs: Anyone here knows what a "bootloader" is or what I should think of when my controller basically turns into something called like that? Any guys with advanced IT skills here? Ascher Racing managed like one response the whole week so I am both upset as well as a bit groggy since I've spent the whole day with migraine and my mood hasn't been the best

BTW what did you find about your bootloader situation? Something about trying to install firmware? Or treating your wheel as disk? or an operating system? I was looking briefly last night but it was all Greek to me

No, I didn't actually. It's still not solved. I don't know what it is, Canadian Dave suspects something about the drivers of the wheel. I don't even know anymore how it installed itself in the first place, as if it was on first plugging in.
I dunno if it's the same software for the button box config tool or a seperate driver/firmware.
The wheel itself is unplugged, I shift via keyboard atm. Not to mention the forces of the wheel and the steering rotation are off since I didn't have the time to concentrate on that. The motor is oscillating too much and it keeps beeping on inputs.
I just tried to see how it would feel to take to the track in this state.
