Eagerly awaiting the next series here at ISO! (*cough, Brazilian Stock Cars, please!, *cough) Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be a blast, and I'm definitely in! Those beasts are a challange!! And they can provide very close and challenging racing. As I said when I mentioned them in the past, some of the best nose to tail, side by side action I've ever had was in those Brazilian stocks, they lend themselves to it perfectly! Also, they have push to pass, something that I personally think is desperately needed in a series such as this one we just completed. Without mistakes from others, it's damn nigh impossible to successfully overtake without being pushy about it. Push to pass would just about make them perfect (save the fact they are the dreaded FWD..lol) The push to pass feature in the Brazilian Stocks brings another bit of strategy and such to the racing (limited to like 10 or 15 push to pass applications, or something like that. Not sure if it's adjustable, maybe not, but I'd imagine if we run them in this environment the races would be long enough to utilize that many anyways. They hold up on the tires, IIRC, for about 30 minutes before they start to fall off. At around 45 minutes....well, around that time, if you abuse them like I was doing in the FWDs yesterday, you're gonna end up in the wall after a puncture < been there, done that...hehe) Fun cars, and only a suggestion....Whatever is decided on, I'm in either way.

It's a very fine suggestion indeed. Sadly I've been on the bad end of the Stock Car racing, when I competed in a Stock Car Series using GSC (earlier version of AMS) there was lots and lots of incidents. They used Rolling Starts, manually done, and for one of the rounds about half the field (out of 36) was wiped out at the start because one driver decided it was a good idea to make it 5 wide at Curitiba at the start... But we'll take it into consideration. For your information, I've been testing just a little bit with the different series available in AMS and I've found a couple that seems to work quite well. Two which has P2P on them and one which doesn't but where you can make passes simply by driving better and using guile while being easier than these FWD's (although, to be fair, Kansai was on the extreme of making it difficult to pass, and apart from Cordoba (I think it was, the all Sweeping track), the tracks tended themselves very well to good hard racing from my seat (although, I started out in FWD's so I may have a fondness I shouldn't have for them or that most of you don't hehe).

I wouldn't expect us to have that problem with this group, no matter what we are driving. The race craft amongst those that frequent here is top notch and there is obviously mutual respect amongst the drivers (proven by the apologies each and every race for the slightest of infractions, sometimes not even deserving of a "sorry") I'd race anything with this group of drivers, and with the skill level required to even keep up here, it's always an exciting challenge for me. From my seat, in this series, it was the same as you said...there was a lot of hard and close racing. I enjoyed it greatly and often just enjoy the pack driving (like yesterday) even if overtaking isn't a very viable option without mistakes from others. The FWDs are great for that...they are certainly more forgiving than most when it comes to a bit of door rubbing and such [not sending us off track like ping pong balls) Still, it'd be nice to have a push to pass option in them, for those times you've got that ever so slight run off a corner but just don't have the extra umph to make it stick without having to feel like you're drive bombing everyone all the time (at least that's how I feel, but maybe I'm just paranoid..lol) .................................................... On that note, yesterday, starting Race 2 from the front, taking the lead knowing full well I didn't have the car to stay there Wow...that was scary! Talk about white knuckle gripping! A few "moments" and I started wondering if I hadn't broken something in my wheel. I toasted the tires and surrendered..but man, what. a. ride!

Well I had a lot fun driving these cars even though at times I was a little bemused as to where to find more speed , but that aside a 20 min race definitely gives you a work out. As others have said I'm up for anything, and may incorporate pit stops. One thing I've been wanting to ask for a while, is it possible to make to name tags higher like in rFactor, just looks a bit messy that's all.
Anyway thanks for organizing

That was 2 great races, first race i bogged down at start from front row and lost 8 places before turn 1,but it it made it good fun fighting my way back up to third and got within 1.5 secs of leaders ,2nd race found it near impossible in first half of race to pass the tight pack in front,2nd half of race managed to pick a few off and got into 4th from 8th so that was a bonus. Jason doubt you were running to high a wing,i had 3 rear wing and allowed me to keep a good pace my suggestion for a series would be the RaceDepartment renault clio cup, close racing and great little cars or a Aussie V8 Season.
Congrats to Austin on championship And big thanks to Richard And Jonatan for running the series.

Top 5 for me, and after some of the troubles I had, and the level of competition here, I can certainly live with that. ...oops, sorry, just correcting myself. Top 6, yeah, P6...that's what I meant Not that I know of. But they are definitely small and hard to see at times, though I do like them out of the way, without the big line drawn to them like in rF. Good to know about the wing. Probably my differential settings then, car was a , needed more ability to oversteer (or at least not push) on lift. The Renault Clio is definitely a fun little car!

Wow that was fun guys. Great racing all season by everyone! That second race was Awesome! Some amazing driving guys, I was impressed that we were all side by side for so many laps! These cars are my bread and butter. I have a time attack honda civic in real life so it was like second nature driving these cars. I've never felt more at home in any sim car like I have these.
Thank you for all the compliments guys it could've gone any way, I've just had a little bit of luck lately.
Thank you to the organization, you guys have a lot on your hands and always seem to get everything going smoothly as possible. Hope more races are to come!
Congrats to all the drivers! Hope to see you guys back on the track soon.
