Anyone else has special books about racing cars, or drivers? I have some special edition Michel Vaillant books about drivers (and even one about Spa-Francorchamps) It's not complete, but these are some of the ones i could get my hands on (for now).

Could be I found this comic book about the 1979 season when cleaning the house Also not to forget about this book. Very special!! (Thanks Jason!) And this one is about all the models from Triumph Motorcycles deep in detail and very complete. Each variation in each motorcycle during the years is shown .

Have a ton of motoring books. Ranging from f1 car by car over a decade to detailed info on certain eras (Such as the turbo cars you're racing now) to a book that has setup sheets for the 1988 McLaren F1 team. Imsa GTP books on all of the cars, rallying books and a host on other subjects. Wilks has a few of my old books too. One of which may help with a mod for the future

In the subject of comics, besides various Michel Vaillant, i have this one somewhere, which is basically a sort of "seasons review" book about f1 seasons from 1950 to 1988. It sure inspired me to like the historical side of the sport:

It's not complete, but these are some of the ones i could get my hands on (for now). Keep at it for a few years and you'll end up with this, which, as far as I'm aware, is complete.
I loved reading them. Still do actually, I read them all again last year.
I'm slowly working my way through this stash now. It's a varied set of books with rally season reviews from 1979 to today, driver biographies, championship or event histories, books about rally/racing cars in general or specific ones like the Porsche 956/962 or... the Wartburg 311/313/1000.

Just finished reading this great Lloyd Ruby biography by Ted Buss. If I had been a teenager or in my twenties in the late 1960s and early 1970s, I think I can safely say I would have been a Ruby fan. Always so close to winning the Indy 500, but fate intervened so many times. If he had managed to win the race, it would have been a very popular victory. The book chronicles the life of a man who spoke slow, but drove hard, understood the meaning of keeping your word and was very loyal, often to a fault.
