Well, I need say that who sit at Williams #5 get some luck at real life... Happened with Dave, and now with me. I received a job offer and I may move to State of São Paulo (Southeastern Brazil) in August or early September. I believe that i can move and become ready to keep my ISO entries post summer vacations. By this way I will keep my Williams seat. And Sunday I hope this same luck at Osterreichring! Welcome back to the state of São Paulo my friend, I'm happy for it! Me too. I will begin as home office in Salvador yet, but I intend to move until September. I will live in Campinas.

** DUE TO AN ERROR WITH THE REIZA SPIELBERG TRACK AND HOW IT COUNTS LAPS, FOR THIS RACE ONLY WE WILL BE RUNNING THE QUALIFYING SESSION WITH UNLIMITED LAPS. TOW BACK WILL STILL BE ACTIVE. **
MANY THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING
P.S THERE WILL BE A PIT LANE SPEED LIMIT DURING THE RACE OF 37 MPH/60 KPH. YOU WILL BE REMINDED IN THE BRIEFING. We have released a patch that increases the pitlane speed limit to 200kph/124mph. You can find the link here or in the first post.--> PITLANE SPEED FIX <--
To install, just extract the contents of the 'FIXED' folder to your Automobilista install. The backup folder is to revert to the original default track setting so you don't get online mismatches should you race elsewhere. (The qualifying will still be an unlimited laps session) BUMP

Well, I spoke too soon about 'fixing' issues with downloading FTP. Now firefox has completely removed the code (so even when you 'enable' it, like I'd already done not long ago) it still doesn't work.

Might be best for you to all download Filezilla client and download the tracks through that. filezilla-project.org/

At least Firefox will semi-automatically open yor ftp-program when using a ftp-link. It certainly remains less convenient than just hitting a link and save straight away, but its no rocket science.

Well, maybe it was late (or I'm an idiot...either is possible, really) but I grabbed WinSCP and tried with it, but when I'd hit the link it was asking for credentials like I was wanting in on the backend. Will sort it, eventually.

Will sort it, eventually. Just download Filezilla, install, and put the IP address in the "Host" box and click quick connect. You'll just then have to find the track yourself. So in this case, Automobilista/Tracks/2021/F1 86/Spielberg Pit Limit Fix.RAR. Double click on it and the file will download. It's strange though as things still download in chrome for me.

What a huge f**k up on my behalf! Completely did not register the curb appearing before T1 and went flying! So so sorry to Wilks and Coxon I believe I caught. Fully deserving of a penalty there
apologies again
Edit: checking replays also apologise to Jaques as he was collected by the domino of my crash.
Again so sorry, pathetic start from myself and should have noticed/remembered that curb :/

I somehow managed to stall the engine while moving into my grid slot, hence the start from the pits Went from last to P8 within a few laps I wanted to overtake Cezariusz and thought that he had enough space on the left, the next thing I saw was the nice blue sky of Austria I don't know if it was my fault or if it was a racing incident but sorry for that Cezariusz

Stupid error, again.
Great fun battling you Brian, you really had that Brabham hooked up. Pitted earlier to maybe try and get an under cut on Brian with the fresher tires but the Ferrari mechanics went on strike again and left me with a 22 second pitstop.
Car was great, i just made a silly error, one that i shouldn't be making.

Again so sorry, pathetic start from myself and should have noticed/remembered that curb :/ cars disappeared on the start, then all bunched up going toward turn 1, just trying to stay off the gearbox of car infront, and tight to the line to cover the inside. but flying car and chaos, end up down the road with rear damage. after the initial dust up into turn 1 there was a car off the grass on the left that came across and spun rejoining, i went to the grass on the right to avoid but that car did too. was coming to terms with the adjusted handling came up to juha and sabre contending position, but was a spin and just couldn't avoid with the car not doing what i wanted. grant, apologies are nice to hear, but what we really want is you to take it to heart and make the necessary adjustments. maybe dial it back a notch. thats the 2nd time this season... even if the curb wasn't there, were u really going to send it up the inside, making it 3 wide, into the tight chicane?
just a shame, we could have really fun races, long term battles, pace, strategy..... need to give each other space to make it to the finish.
PS> huge thanks to gabrielle and congrats for such a fast pace!

2 Points... Almost Podium! But I'm happy! I ran out fuel at last lap. But I immagine that Wilks and Juha haven't fuel too.

Congratulations, Gabrielle! Amazing domination and win!
This track is fantastic. Unfortunately my engine blew after the first chicane. Strange moves at the start, drivers blocking and throwing cars over. Over me and over others. Hence the incidents. Wasn't expecting such agressiveness in the first lap.
But there's no space for protests for this. It's just a sad note on behaviours.
It was fun, jumping from 22 to 10, and my DNF. Then, jumped to YouTube to watch the race. As always, very professional and high level broadcast!
Let's see what cars are available after the vacations. Bye for now.

To be honest the first time I have driven this car was at the start of qualifying. The Zackspeed is a deadly roller coaster which has given me more scares than a terror movie, but I managed it to end the race (I'm not fired, yes! ), so see you next time around!

Don't hide (not my style!) behind the fact the A9 is a pile of shit I made the suspension as stiff as possible and put C tires underneath to have some grip in combination with a lot of downforce behind. surprisingly again I was able to compete for p10 , very nice fight with a Lola. but the tires just ate themselves , ( should have taken B compound anyway. when I saw Gab coming with burnt tires on lap 11!! the car flew out from under me to let it pass. luckily nothing happens. race over and the A9 can be scrapped. back to Monza with the A8 ,!!!!! Great win Gabrielle!!! Viva!! Brian well done man! cheers everyone!

Sorry to David Jaques with my spin ending up collecting you. I had to keep pushing as I was somehow up in 3rd place, I guess that I pushed a bit too much. Sorry. I qualified 12th which is about where I expected to be. The race start was good for me as I found a clean way though the chaos, only then on about lap four I got into Juha's slipstream heading down to the Bosch curve and managed to pass Juha but my speed must have been a lot higher as I entered the curve and lost the rear and spun out to the barrier for David Jaques to then collide with me . A long pitstop for repairs and then just continue to the end of the race in 12th place with worn out tyres. Congratulations to Gabriele again, Brian Janik and Richard Wilks. Sorry to DJ. Thanks for the broadcast.

It was exactly that. Going beyond 11k rpm. During practice it kinda worked hahahaha...

Fun race besides a few scary moments. Started 20th despite qualifying in 19th. I tried to avoid all the carnage at the start and had to slam on the brakes to avoid Coxon rejoining, otherwise there would have been at least two more cars out at that point. I know you stopped in the chicane but you shouldn't have rejoined like that in front of 2/3 of the field.
After that I moved up to 9th and kept Remmen, Chacon, and Ray behind for a few laps until being punted off in a careless move by Chacon for the second time this season. Surprisingly there was no damage and was able to finish without pitting. The rear tires were gone by the end.

Quite happy for bringing it home on my second race, first for Arrows. Of course fuel management wasn't great and after spending a good deal of it at first half of the race, I had to lift&coast, reduce boost and hence was a sitting duck the rest of race. Almost a top 10 but nothing to complain, at all.
Also glad to read from François above that A9 was terrible and rolling back to A8 is good news for the remainder of season. Congratulations to Gabriele! Superb drive. And thank you for helping the other day on the server(though I was hopeless at keeping the car on track as it was too edgy for me).
Thank you Jason and Alberto, the pre race and post race were top of class as usual. I'm eager to watch full race during the week when I'll have free time!
And a great summer holiday season to all!

I'm very happy for finishing my first race here even with that dozen of mules given by the old Alfa engine. It's a shame I've lost 3 laps on the beggining after being too optimistic at the Bosch Kurve as if I was in the Qualifing Session. I had to bring the car to the pits with a puncture and suspension damage in the rear left and spend 240s repairing. I could have finish about 12º without that mistake. I'm sorry if I brought problems to someone after spinning in the Texaco Shikane about 20 laps to go.

I get that David. Again huge apologies. Genuinely feel gutted for you guys I ruined the race for :/ I wouldn’t exactly say I need to start showing change though. Yes, 2 major incidents so far after 12 rounds. Both of which by my mis judgment. No one on the grid is perfect but that’s making it sound like I’m a repeat offender every race. If I stacked it every 1 or 2 races like that then totally agree id need to reevaluate my approach, like I already have done with race tactics and fuel. If the curb wasn’t there I’m not sure how it would have played out but I wouldn’t of made contact with any of you I can assure you of that. Again, very sorry for my part.
