I'm having problems with the Update Imola 1.mas file. I think I lost this file and I can't get into the server. Can any administrator put the correct file for download on ISO FTP?

I'll see if I can today, but you may be best verifying your files on steam to get it back. Back up your plr file before though incase it makes changes to it.

Beautiful! These cars feel really great and even more important, natural to me. Some cars suit me better and others less so, but they give me a feedback I can work with and reward you instantly when you grab 'em right. Just the right cure for my motivation after yesterdays desaster...

It is very important to understand that these cars were old technology and metallurgy on easily fading brakes, running races of 2-3 hours on tracks with no safety measures. Drivers had very good reasons to pace themselves, both to stay alive and preserve the machinery. Anyone thinking about hotlapping the whole race is bound for a big disappointment. The key to do well with these is finding the proper balance between pace and taking risks inside the safety zone of the engine. There isn't really much strategy involved in fuel or tires (besides obviosuly not locking them in every corner), and barely any setup adjustment, so the main limitation is not breaking the engine or hitting anything. About the WORST thing you can do with these cars is overdrive them. You can and should drift smoothly through corners but not go the "scandinavian flick" style.

These cars certainly appreciate a proper throttle blip technique when braking, especially the Maseratis.
Their reasonable power-to-wheight ratio and grip level propably work well with my brain speed...

It's weird.. knowing the track layout from how it looks in the 50's.. but with the new buildings around it.. messes up my old brake marker memories... But damn is the Argentinian track whole lotta fun!

That’s a typical AMS issue, nothing to worry about.
