Fucking pitstop!
I was doing a great race, but during the final couple of laps, the pitstop keeps on requesting...
Not knowing it's not a scheduled one, got it... and dropped all the way to the back... great fucking pitstops that takes ages and wasn't needed

I'm laughing to myself thinking about Ibañez's words: it's like driving a real car. I think he forgot to mention "a real car with a broken back train and plastic tyres" lol I spun today several times and decied to quit before I could cause problems with the leaders. In all moments, at all times, I was well aware that the issue is me, not the car. I am spending many hours modding over the week and attending my real life job and family, so I did not put enough practice (Actually nearly none). There are leagues and mods that allow you to jump in, have fun and not lose it, but that is not our take even if I myself end up paying dearly for it. The cars are not hard or impredictable, but as with any real racing car, if you are not prepared and in the right mindset, you will suffer it. It's up to everyone to raise up to the situation

I thought Sabre's car was far behind so I tried to pull it out of the perfect line, however I did that extremely slow and mayhem occurred. I am deeply and sadly sorry for causing that accident, David. And I totally understand whatever consequences my bad driving may bring. Thinking I was doing the right thing, I've simply done the most incorrect thing I couldve ever done in that situation. Not a problem Fernando, I was well down the field by then. I saw your car on the outside and went to the inside which is exactly what you did also. I got a drive-through penalty at the start (I must have jumped the start) and that put me well down the field. I was then driving flatout which leads to mistakes .

David I think it was because of the grid laying on a up-hill section. You had to stay on the brake to prevent the car sliding out of the box. I know I nearly got a penalty as it kept moving forward before the green light appeared.

Well since a downgrade in equipement to my old 'sounds like an old boat cracking' 20 year old Momo wheel. Did'nt really expect my first podium here. Man it was hard to be consistent.
Funny thing, my last podium was in the same car and track with you guys at HSO. As for reality I really find parabels to modern formula ford driving (refering to the stiffnes, and constant under-oversteer) however with the main distinctive difference beeing a much heavier car. Love driving these cars!
Congrats Thiago and great battle with Anders nice drive mate!

Full of entertainment, nice battle with Bruno and Drechsler screwed the start by letting the car rolling over the line, DT Penal ran almost flat LF tire and steers a ton with those shot tires.
big FUN!!

Very intense race!
The qualify was a bit of surprise for me. I had put some race laps after doing 1:31.90 and not put any qualify lap until the single hotlap in the official session. Very unexpected pole. I'm pretty sure Grant would be untouchable if he had put more practice for this one.
I had a somewhat good start but was afraid to miss the second gear and Grant was very competent by doing the job perfectly overtaking in the outside in T1. I saw Cezar coming fast and it would be silly from me if I had battled him, he was going for it and I knew he had good pace to stay with Grant.
Grant and Cezar were really going for it and I was just watching. Cezar overtook him after a mistake at Cooper Straight but then went wide in the last turn promoting me to 2nd place.
I kept trying to follow Grant, not very easy as you know. He had a moment at Sheene's and he could see the number in my door going to Stirling's. Nice fight there but he kept the position by keeping the inside line. (nice and clean)
He made another small mistake at Hawthorn and this time I was able to get the position at Westfield. You know Grant, he never gives up. He was keeping close distance waiting for any opportunity. Unfortunately he spun in the exit of Graham Hill and that was the end of the fight.
Just tried to keep the car on the gray watching Anders pace, which wasn't slow at all.
Congratulations to Anders and John!
Thanks ISO! you all!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The cars feel even more challenging to drive than in the past editions of the mod. Not a bad thing, tires are more sensitive to overdrive as I believe it should, based in some interviews in some old footages I saw.

I'd like to join the choir of the unhappy. I don't know if it is track-related or something just got worse between v1.5 and v2.0, but that was an odd one. Trotting around at 1:40 already had the tires at 100 degrees, and I wasn't neither sliding around nor really pushing it hard. Getting into the 1:35s had the tires already at around 115 degrees, and from there it wasn't long until the grip fell of the cliff. I wasn't able to practice as much as I would have wanted to, but from the beginning, I never found the right pace between 'rolling around without any ambitions' and 'overdriving it', as soon as I started to attack the slightest, temps, grip and balance simply ran away and I was haplessly sliding around. Didn't help the work called me twice during the Q session, but that wouldn't have made a huge difference.
Race start was okay, but soon lost a position to Francois, got that back, had a good fight with Matthew, but the pace was definitely to high and I soon spun out. Had another fun fight with Bruno and Francois again, had another spin for having to drive harder than what would be good, just to keep up, told myself 'screw it' and roll it home. A few guys in front of me did me the favour to spin out, so I could get a few positions and end in 15th, but that was one of the races I'll happily forget about. I'm just slowly getting a bad feeling about DRM...

I'm laughing to myself thinking about Ibañez's words: it's like driving a real car. I think he forgot to mention "a real car with a broken back train and plastic tyres" lol After learning how to hold it on track, nice start and keeping close to the second to last - me being comfortably and happy last. No more than 1 second behind, until the cars in front began to spin and go off track. Then that happened to me too, and on the third time I did a big time sheet... All in all the race was fun. I just didn't want to spoil anybody else's fun time. And I just did... feeling terrible about it. Thanks for the event. Congrats to the winners The car was fine. Stop whinging. Do I know you? Do you know me? So a little respect.

Some people feel pleasure for that, some people don't.

The car was fine. Stop whinging. Do I know you? Do you know me? So a little respect. "So a little respect." Why don't you "So a little respect" to the league and modders responsible for the race you participated in today. There is nothing wrong with those M1 physics. They drive as a race car should in the 70s: Soft suspension, high torque.

Thank you to Alberto!!! I know I'm not much in this car/track combo, but was feeling baffled going into quali Alberto somehow noticed my brakes were slightly sticking around whole track Didnt know how to fix properly so I put in 20% deadzone halfway through Quali Instantly >1.5 secs faster but now kept flying off track in fast corners without natural trailbraking hahaha Just tried to stay cool in race with new found pace, and hope for some mistakes from others... Battled w Miller and Juha for the majority of Race, other than couple small errors from each of us, we all stayed cool Good racing fellas!!

Look.. I don't want to continue this as much as the next man, but when ya' see people saying things.. The reason I'm not pissed at Drechsler is because of the way he phrased his experience with the car. All I saw was you straight up insulting it with 'Plastic tyres' and the like. After having such a fun time (personally) I don't need people sucking away the enjoyment with their own personal problems with the car(s). I don't have a problem letting it go with you but if you're gonna say things like that, I don't think it's very fair to others. Imagine if you created a mod with a lot of hard work and feedback you got was that. Not something constructive you can use to improve your mod, but just straight up insults. I'll agree to disagree, and sorry for offending you.

I never did well at Brands Hatch, and yesterday was no exception. I qualified well for my doing, 7th, and spent most of the race around that spot. Then I got it wrong once, and Jundt came through. I messed up again and lost even more places, some of which I regained. Eventually I finished where I'd started, but behind a bunch who were behind me on the grid. Could and should have driven better, and well done to those who did manage that.

Oof...sloppiest racing I've done in a long time. Wasn't prepped but after some laps felt I'd be ok. Knew I had to keep the tires as cool as possible so that was going to require ignoring others. Didn't seem to make that happen early on and suffered for it. Spun, and from there on it was a mess. Couple times I got the tires to cool back off but then I'd just roast them again trying to force the car around too much. Not much race to speak of and I eventually bailed after my 3rd big spin (told myself if it happened that 3rd time I'd bail...safety issue for others) Mostly just came in here to read race reports and to apologize to Francios for the big shunt. Man, I know that probably seemed intentional (because we'd just had a slight coming together moments before that when you got into my rear a bit) and I know I didn't even lift, but I assure you it was not. I simply (and embarrassingly) completely misjudged the amount of car I had to the right of me, and with narrow single screen FOV I couldn't really see just how much car was there. I thought I was going to go to the left of you but just ran over top of you. Very sorry about that. Glad it seems it didn't cause you as much trouble as it caused me concern! Car was a handful, but fun to slide around (even though sliding is bad...hehe) Next time I'll try to get a bit more prep in so I can at least keep the thing in the road.

On reflection, the track was probably quite hard for these cars. But of the other races in the 80 Procar series, all other tracks also will be used this year in one form or another or were recently, so Brands became the best choice for variety. I tell you though, I rather go through painting the 79 skins before bringing these cars here again ...

A little disappointed with the final result, as I was having a smooth race, after a very bad start, losing many positions that I recovered throughout the race and keeping the tires to finish the race well. That lasted until lap 16 or 17 when I found Kayo recovering from a spin and with Hackman huffing behind me(Sorry Kayo for the little bump in the back of your car, I was doing my best) and at the start of lap 18 I made the only mistake turning in a corner and no damage but with cars very close together, it took me a while. to get a space to get back on track safely, but too late to do anything better than 17th place. The Mod was fantastic, much better (and more real and difficult) than the previous version, the tires conveying all the reactions of the car well. It was pure fun for me and the good cat-mouse chases with the other riders in the peloton, all very clean and rewarding.

Could and should have driven better, and well done to those who did manage that. I was already thinking I'd make it a copy of Argentina and shadow you all race... but well, then I sneaked through when I was presented the opportunity Can't complain really, after going from 10th to 4th by the end of the race. The only passing without taking advantage of a mistake was the left side pass up into Druids Bend on Janik and Wilks(which felt more like rushing a newly opened checkout as the first person than really overtaking), the rest was you and others getting it slightly wrong. Didn't really feel like there was any good opportunity to pass as I was busy with the car. CC after his spin looked like he could get me, luckily I didn't show an opening that he could take advantage of. Leaving my setup issues aside, I also think the car feels slightly more tricky, I need to "alien" up again, Thiago and Grant for example were flying(while I was floundering in Q in comparison) !
