The #58 Maserati is now available as a one off.
If Ruben confirms he’ll race the car before any one else claims it, he can still race it.

Pains me, to do this....but my car is up for offer #12..I am not "freeing it", and as there is abetter car also available atm........I would just prefer for some1 more competent, better practiced to get the car from the tail end. Hope that makes sense? (DRM was a bloody nitmare, cos the 2 rows ahead were slow getting moving (or I was too eager) and I always had it in my mind I would be behind the Div2 cars....anyway, I am looking forward to it.....though, Monaco seemed much easier?? I'm also going to have to back out. I didn't get near enough the practice during the week to even keep the car on the track. Hope everyone has a fun race on such a great track.

I'll be there in warm up..... Please doubt hesitate to boot me, if I am too slow......I doubt I will be able to see any request to ask me to leave....My priroity is not to be a hazard...but sometimes, determination gets the better of me.....thx

Just go your own way and be safe, slow is not an issue - erratic driving is. Do your line and be predictable, that's all.

Good Evening - Will anyone be broadcasting today's F1 race? I know that it was undecided a week ago.
Everyone have a great race! BL

Ever had a bad day? Well.. i had a bad weekend...
Didn't get to practise due to a depression and with the rear constantly locking up.. even with all the tweaking..
Eventually got it somewhat to work...
Qualifying... frustrating when you're behind a car that's slower than you.. so you make mistakes etc, managed to post a good laptime...
Race... now off with a good start, David Jaques let me by because my pace was better than (thanks man).. climbed up some places...
got a bit wide and spun out.. lost some places.. never mind... managed to overtake to get back where i was...... untill i made a big mistake and my car was send airborne into the trees... fuck this weekend!

Really sorry about not retiring earlier.....I never spent anytime trying to sort out the car "wandering" (vague top dead center....) no excuse....anyway...my preference was to tick to the left on the s/f straight....but as soon as my attention deviated from ahead, car wanted to drift right, so next and "last time, I chose the right....I was expecting the car to bounve over the hay bales, but through me into some1 path .....I did not hang around and hoped for the best......anyway much fun to drive...my era....I make sure I am sorted for next 1....Thanks.

Surprisingly, I managed to finish the race. Completely exhausted here. Good fight with Ray, the fastest prevailed. Congratulations Janik, Hille and Bos, your pace was amazing.

In the end, the race was just to long for my stamina today. Was a bit slow in the brain anyways, didn't realise the Q session was already underway and was in some people's lap before I realised what was going on...
...I left out a few tenths and perhaps a position or two in the grid, but in my last run, the track felt slippery, the balance was gone and the car all over the place. At least I was pretty close to my personal best.
My start was ... most embarrasing. Revved up, green light, off the clutch and some more throttle, noise, but no motion? Okay, engaging a gear helps occasionally There I was, 23rd from 11th?, awesome ... not!
Lap 2: Dang, I thought I turned off the delta bar, seemingly not. Instead I had wraparound standings, which is just as irritating. Lap 5: Finally had my screen as I wanted it, amidst all the competition around me.
Lap 7: As things settled a bit in, I had a glance at the temp gauge. 105 deg. A bit too much so early in the race, even though I was aware I was a bit generous with revs, so
Lap 10: Realised the race lasts 75 laps, guess who filled the tank for 80 laps? At least the car settled in nicely, could make up a few positions, temperatures could have been a little bit lower, but the rhythm was steady, the balance was nice, just everything a bit off pace compared to the other cars. And some who went off like a rocket in warm-up fell by the side.
That final turn got me the whole week, though, I got a little help from Tim when he tried to lap me, a bit unfortunate incident when I had a bit of a wiggle. Luckily, I didn't hit anything, but it cost Tim his second place. Else I was doing relatively well, compared to my completely botched tests all the week, where I never managed more than 30 laps. I had two more spins on my own where I escaped damage, I decided to do it a bit more careful from now on. Occassionally, I could close the gap the the cars ahead of my a little, but I was over 30 seconds from the next car, even though I slowly moved into ninth. But also, I noticed my driving got a bit untidy after lap 45, missing a few shifts, I was really worried concerning my engine. But the car slowly came to life, and Bruno in front of my was getting under 30 seconds, so I carefully raised my pace again. Being the last car running wasn't exactly my script for today! Then I got a warning I was about to be lapped. Tim again! A look in the mirror told me the gap was still relative large, so I decided to continue on my way for a moment and give the way soon. I intended to give the neccessary room leaving the last corner to start/finish, but I was fractionally to fast over the crest, and even though I threw in the second gear, I came to far to the outside, slid of the track, spun around and into the hay bales. Hard. The car flew a bit around, but luckily landed on its wheels and on the right side of the hay bales, but unfortunately, the impact killed my engine. End of the day. Some 15 laps or so short of the finish, what a disappointment. But also a not completely unexpected ending.

For me this was one of those events where not much goes right. In qualifying I couldn't get a decent lap in, not that a fast lap would have improved things much. In the race I was making a little bit of progress but then a mix up with lapping a car ended with me hitting their rear. Sorry Angel but I thought that you were staying on the racing line and I was going past on the inside, you're move towards the inside made me go towards the outside and then you didn't move any further and I hit your rear. A long pitstop for repairs. I was just crusing hoping to get a finish when François spun up ahead, there was room to go past only for the gap to be closed and a heavy impact, race over. A great track though Martin.

Noticed several of the Spectators had brought their tethered levitation seats to get a good view of the action! Amazing sight to see in 1958, since those aren't expected to be available until 2029 Unfortunate amount of attrition again , the Ferrari team is happy to have survived and proud to deliver a 1-2.

Well done to the Ferrari team on the 1-2 result, and to everyone who completed the race.
The Cooper was great in the first two sectors, but not so much on the straight. My best chance was to qualify on pole, hope I'd get away better so I could keep the red cars behind me in the twisty part and build up a cushion. Instead, Ferrari locked out row 1 and Anders got away better so by the first turn I was in 4th place. The Ferraris ran away, so did Anders, and Thiago had a look in his Maserati, but mostly I was sitting there on an island. Unfortunately Anders' engine let go again, I think he's taken over the black cat which was hiding in the engine compartment of my DRM BMW, promoting me to third. I then dropped the rhythm completely, saving the engine and monitoring Dave behind me, until his engine cried enough.
Reims next. I don't think there's a track less suited to my car than that one, but I'll give it a go.
