#24 Leader Card Racing March 87C Cosworth is available first come first served since Bruno did not confirm. Should he confirm before someone else takes the car he can still race it on sunday.

I'm going to have to give up my ride. This really sucks because I was really hoping to race and I love this track. Good luck to everyone tomorrow.

P.S. I know there was slight concern about me having a controller (I think?)
I have a full Logitech wheel set now, so I'm all decked out with the proper equipment.

OK Matthew your welcome to pick the car, but as with all last minute entries, we might ask you to leave the server if you are deemed not safe enough for the race. The pace is not really that important, it's all about awareness and making sure you are predictable for the rest of the racers, so please put that as main objective.

The pace is not really that important, it's all about awareness and making sure you are predictable for the rest of the racers, so please put that as main objective. I've been trying to turn some laps in the server, and I think you are right. I like the car and track but I do not think it is worth it. Long Beach is quite technical in itself with the twistyness of left and right corners, but this layout I have never driven before. Closed cockpit like the DRMs is more my thing, so I think I'll just stay in my lane. Driving the car is one thing, but driving it at a reasonable speed for a long time in traffic is another. Looking forward to Hockenheim, and thanks for the opportunity, but I will free the #7 from me today. Thank you to Thiago Canola for giving me very much needed tips for this race as well also.

Just a tiny touch on the wall entering the back straight and the suspension is gone. Oh well.

Wheel died. Good timing. New one ordered. Race prep. was great, Q lap was good. Broadcast is enjoyable as always, track is beautiful. Thanks ISO. Gratz to all finishers and cooperative wheels . Thanks to David J. - he had a brilliant idea for the race set.

Good start, and all downhill from that point on. I got passed by a load of Swedes dropping me out of the top 10, then spun after my first stop which cost me 2 laps. I tried to regain a few places but blew the engine while doing so.
Sorry to those in whose way I got when being lapped.

I started the race out of sheer persistence, I injured my left knee that suffers from a very strong arthrosis and I had to use an anesthetic ointment to try to endure the race. Very calmly, I soon found a comfortable rhythm and went up positions with several accidents ahead of me. When I was in 14th place, in a dispute with Alberto Jr., we touched wheel and someone behind me filled my back, puncturing my tire. Carefully I took the car to the pit stop and it took 108 seconds to repair the damage. I went back 2 laps behind the ones I was ahead of and that was very discouraging, because I had a great level of concentration, I didn't make mistakes and I didn't hit anyone, but it looks like there's a magnet in the back of my car and several drivers got it right. the back of my car. Even with the car damaged and the steering wheel turned a little, I managed to keep the pace between 1:10 and 1:11, but I couldn't do anything to catch up with the cars in front of me. In the end, 12th place rewarded me by entering the points zone in a race I didn't believe I would be able to finish because of the pain. I confess that it was almost sadomasochistic torture, but I was very happy with my performance. Congratulations to Thiago for the brilliant victory. Now I'm going to enjoy watching the broadcast, which must have been spectacular.

A lot of brown moments in this race.
The qualify was very critical. With 25 cars running around it was important to leave a good gap to people in front and also hope to not find anybody in a outlap. I had luck to put a good lap.
Very gutted by what happened with Vadim after putting so much practice. I think he could drive around this track blindfolded.
Had a good start considering the 154kg of fuel I was carrying. I was able to take the position back at T1 and from there the idea was to control the pace. I got squeezed against the wall when lapping a car and that gave Jaques and Richard opportunity fight for 1st place, we went 3 wide! I didn't want to push rpms at all so early, just let Jaques by. After a couple of laps Richard also overtook me after a great fight.
I knew the overall pace was good and I could stretch the tires longer. The plan was always to use only 2 sets of tires. I had some loss of concentration looking in my spreadsheet and scratched the wall in T3 lap 83 and that made the steering a few degrees off. Did my splash in lap 85, no tires and managed the gap til the end. It could had been a bit more comfortable if I hadn't spun but this is racing, it happens in a blink of an eye.
I'm very happy for my first win. Congratulations to Richard, Jaques and all finishers.
Thank you Jonatan and Alberto for the broadcast!!
