huge apologies to Adam at the start, I didn't calculate properly the braking zone and kicked you out of the track.

A good race, I was up to 4th at the start and was then fighting to stay near the front. I was managing to keep Juha behind me although he did sneak past a couple of times . It was good fun and then Giovanni came up to play and I knew that he was faster than me so I let him go past and tried to hang on to him but I ran wide up a bank spun around and damaged my car. After that the rear end was very loose and unpredictable. Running 7th until little Al got past and then he went off so I was back to 7th position with John Thim behind who then went out of the race but then it was my turn to have an engine failure on lap 17 of 24 when I was running on my own just cruising as the gaps around me were big. Thanks for the broadcast . I'll watch the end of the race. Good race thanks everyone.

Welp, that was very disappointing. Had such a great feel for the car and good pace underneath (11th to 4th in 4 laps), but just the slightest errors had massive consequences there at Stavelot. Bummer.

Old Spa is a very important track for me. I did my first ever league race there back in 2003 and the same track saw my return to racing (and normal life as such) after my illness three years ago. If there's a race I'm proud of, it's this one - 1954 Endurance at HSO. Pole, fastest lap and a victory, wihle barely feeling my lower limbs
I shot myself in the foot even before the race. I tested the available one-off cars. Vanwall was superb, BRM not bad, 250Fs were significantly slower. And being the fool I am, i didn't even test the blue one, which was superb in Monza. Well, it wasn't the one. It was the damn Leggera shitbox. Nevermind, I'm overweight and underpowered too, so it was a good fit
I got hit from behind in T1 pretty hard which caused some ping-pong, but thankfully I could continue without significant damage. I passed some cars and the rest crashed out. I was looking for a battle with Juha in our sub-par vehicles, but sadly he got killed at Masta. The rest of the race was uneventful, but I didn't mind. Even driving alone around the old Spa is worth it. I hope I'll grab another one-off ride for the next race, driving these cars really is a lot of fun

Even a day after winning the championship I can't stop smiling Looks like a young and rapid German speaking person in a Ferrari is a recipe for glory The fact that I have driven the car of Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips for the most part of the season makes it even sweater Congrats to Anders and his green rocket, I threw everything at him but it wasn't enough to deny his well deserved win Also congrats to everybody who managed to finish this race Thanks to Jonathan and Jason for the great broadcast

Realy awesome to see the whole bunch on track last night in real Action! love it! put so many efforts in it for my good friend Gabriele Maruca to make the best out of it cheers
A track that we all favor. this combo is I believe so far the most dangerous one we drove per lap so great respect for all finishers. the start was good but most feared to not get in a rare situation at Eau Rouge what exactly happend .. gotdamn had to slammed the brakes and got hit front and rear so the car was quite off balance , wanted to pit next lap for full repairs but tried to get used to it , for a few laps , i knew this was not the right choice specialy under high speed braking at Masta and Stavelot it was pretty hairy. however i got it under controll
just take it easy and cruising. despite those 2 famous corners the Carrierre is known to be a tricky part, and there it went so wrong , it felt like my front right wheel suspension gave up and broke apart, so odd and by a slight correction the car went of track to meet a telephone pole
enjoyed every minute of it and hope you all did aswell
cheers all

Congratulations Tim on taking the championship, and Anders on winning the race. It's about time that thing held together long enough once again.
I didn't have much hope prior to this race, especially after trying the Vanwall. Cezariusz then showed the Cooper had more in it than I gave it credit for, and made me realise I had to tidy up my driving. Whatever worked at other tracks didn't quite do the trick around here. His advice improved my lap times sufficient to give some hope of competitiveness.
Qualifying seventh wasn't bad. Cezariusz was quicker but the car's strength is usually in the race so I was hoping to reduce the gap once we got going. At the start the row in front of me didn't move quickly, creating a small gap between us and the leaders from which we never recovered. I soon found myself swamped with more powerful machinery. There were enough cars around for me to use their slipstream so my underpowered lightweight wasn't dropping chunks of time down the straights. I even had to back off to avoid overrevving it. I had a great battle with the BRM's of David and Giovanni, until we encountered an upside down Cooper at the exit of Masta. Surprisingly my car was still running, but it was damaged as badly as in Portugal.
A four minute pitstop later, during which my mechanics could use the practice I'd given them in the previous race, the car was drivable again, even if down on top speed. I then set out to catch the drivers ahead, but they were either out of reach or disconnected before I caught them. It made my race rather boring, but the track is fun and at least I avoided hitting anything else. It's unfortunate the accident happened, as Cezariusz got the car on the podium and the cars I fought with rounded out the top 5, but these things can happen and at least I finished the race, which I didn't expect myself to do after umpteen crashes all around the track in practice.

A satisfying run for me. I ran away from accidents (I even lost control of the car when dodging Simon across the track, but managed not to crash and continue the race without damage). I found a safe pace between 2:20 and 2:25. It was a lonely race, and running away from Juha who had been discounting more than 5 seconds per lap, sometimes 10! Without losing focus, I made a bureaucratic race, without fights and mistakes. Of course, except for the near miss with Simon. Happy to have kept my concentration on this very challenging circuit. Congratulations Anders, Hile and Cezariuz, brilliant racing! Congratulations to the broadcast team for the excellent broadcast, you excel at every show!

Congratulations to Tim for the championship, to Anders for the race and the podium. Old Spa and 58 cars... what else? I was really waiting for this race, and having 24 cars on the grid was simply awesome. After the bitter race in Portugal i was not so confident on the reliability of my car, what to expect from a car so strange that has 3 discs after all? So i choosed to stay safe and not to unleash all the cavalry of the mighty 4 cylinder, my first challenge was to finish the race. The car felt good for the entire practice and after qualifiyng i managed a 4th spot on the grid. However the final drive for qualy was too extreme to last for the entire race, temps were not really high in reality but i was so scared that i got 2 clicks more. The start was bad, i dropped 7th, then 8th at the end of lap 1. The conservative gearing penalized me for the entire sector from Stavelot to la Carriere, the engine was overreving in 3rd, and bogging at 5000 rpm in 4th so i had poor exit acceleration from Stavelot and that was my Achille's heel. Had a good time with David and Juha, changing position 2 or 3 times per lap sometimes. I was ,i think, only slighly faster but even when i passed them on the straight i generally was loosing my position uphill to Blanchimont. After Juha accident and David spun at Malmedy i relaxed and cruised to the end preserving the car. During the last 4 laps the gap to Gabriele dropped to 12 seconds so thinking that he may be on troubles i start pushing again, but he was only managing the gap so i decided that 5th position and 2 points was more than enough.
Thanks also to the broadcasting team, every time a pleasure rewatch the race on a lazy monday.
