Santino, I think you can only apply for a drive when a regular driver gives up their spot.

** LIKE LAST TIME WE RAN F1 1986,
- DO NOT CHARGE OUT OF THE PITS DURING QUALIFYING.
- COME TO A VERY SLOW CRAWL AT THE END OF THE PITLANE AND ONLY ENTER ONTO THE TRACK IF THE LIGHT IS NOT FLASHING.
- IF THE LIGHT IS FLASHING, DO NOT ENTER THE TRACK AS A CAR COULD BE APPROACHING AND YOU MAY RUIN THEIR QUALIFYING LAP.
THANK YOU! **

Crashed to desktop about 4 times now, similar to what happened at Jerez.

'tis the season of hardware issues. I think my th8rs gearstick is giving up. It just kinda seized in the middle of the race, got very heavy all of a sudden. I retired as I don't want to aggravate whatever is going on with it. Shame, as I was having a good race, was up to 10th, was driving cleanly, doing some passing, setting PB race laps.

Sadly a rubbish weekend didn't get the happy ending I was hoping for.
Got frustrated because I was stuck behind Tim, running about a second and more, as time progressed, off the speed I could go had I had clean air. When I finally got by I had used too much energy and got distracted for a moment, ran just a bit deep at the chicane and like happened in practice, I couldn't judge the limit of the wall (I've had that issue at other tracks with tire-stack chicanes too, I think it's due to my eye-wide-squint, or however to describe it) and clouted the wall a tiny bit which threw me into the inside barrier and took the right front wheel off.
At a track I love, this feel like a proper letdown...

I had a great qualifying for my standards, but the race was a letdown. The temperature would always creep up a bit too much despite me trying to save the engine, but it wasn't enough to last much beyond mid-race.

I could not find the pace around here and qualified 16th. A steady start to the race on B tyres as I couldn't get any feeling from the A tyres that was going to use. A couple of early knocks on the barriers but the car was still going ok although my pace was slow. As the tyres wore I had a spin and then another and had to spin turn the car around. After that I was just trying to get to the end of the race, watching the engine temps and keeping them ok. After my pitstop I had another spin and when spinning the car back around the engine failed. Hopefully Spa will be better suited to me and my McLaren, but probably not. Thanks for the broadcast watching it now.

Ridiculously hard today. I had a great start off the line but that is where the easiness ended.
AMS minimized to desktop twice during the race which is why I had those braking issues at Tabac and Mirabeau. Just very lucky not to have gotten damage or crash into anyone else. Even got a runtime error but I was somehow able to get back into AMS.
I was amazed by John Thim's pace but just kept my own pace and tried very hard to keep the engine alive, which was my main objective during the race.
Thanks to all the lapped cars today, you guys did great today!

Had some fun tonight, some unnecessary games were being played in Qualifying but happy to start on the front row. Not the start I wanted but racing incident and these happen so a lap down on the field by T2 I thought “let’s just continue and see what happens” … pace was really strong and made it back up to 6th but engine just let out tonight. Gabriele well done! We’ve come close last two races and it’s coming Thanks for the broadcast guys was top notch yet again!

Deeply sry Grant about the first corner. My tires was cold and I was holding right as much as I could trying to avoid it. I,m Kicking my self for it. Maybe my pass on Jules also was a bit to agressive. It did'nt feel like it incar but the replay lookes different. Maybe I braked early and thats why. Had some misshifts mid-race, should have backed off with 20 to go. Was not pushing that hard on the engine, only certain laps. Just bad management overall. Congratulations to the finishers!
