Broadcast has been created and it'll be my first broadcast of the year, so I'm feeling a little bit rusty but hopefully it'll run fine without a hitch what-so-ever.
Best of luck to all participants, but especially to Aaron Curtis who's running a car that's very dear to my heart hehe.

I cannot confirm, due to last minute pressure from work. However, put me back at back of the line as alternate if possible. If we can get enough done in time, I'd have been able to race after all.

The time to confirm for the 500 mile race has expired. 32 drivers have confirmed and will take the green flag on Sunday. Good luck to you all.

I want to confirm that the fuel limit is 7 full tanks, so a little more than the quoted 1057 liters, to make the math easier for everybody, so 6 fuel stops, 7 full tanks.

Sorry, I won’t be taking the start today. I’m not feeling well this weekend and just don’t have the stamina for such a big race in this state.

Couldn't avoid a brake-checking car when moving out to make a pass on the front straight. Pitted for repair but the car felt like trash after that. No point continuing.

Bruised the wall twice because of the wandering in straights then on the second my idiotic pit crew threw me repairs I had unrequested. I hate the wandering at speed, can't drive cars that don't go in straight line without FF, so I won't race these again until that gets fixed as it makes no sense to put all the preparation only to end up like this.

Managed to make it five laps before I had a coming together with Ray and subsequently the wall, the thing was too damaged to bring back to the pits so that put an end to my race pretty quickly.

Hard race for me, sitting in the slowest car of the field, buhuut: I finished my first ISO 500-miler! Yay! Else, the car was dead slow, always leaning a bit to the understeering end, but I could place the car whereever I wanted it to be, and the car setup as such was very conservative. The engine peaked at about 8350 rpm in free air at 5.05 to 5.10 litres per lap, but I was hardly able to fetch the tail of other cars. Towards the end, I could challange a few cars on speed, but then I was already a few laps down, I suppose, bad maths got me in that situation, I had some extra 70 litres of fuel left. Else, the car was benign, no vices, no sudden whoopsies when trying to get an overeager rear end back on track, and if it wasn't for a short lapse of concentration around lap 170, where I had a short, harmless wall brush, I kept it clear. Overall, I was lacking cornering speed. Earned 10 positions in the end, 8 by others dropping out, and two by keeping it clean. I was surprised there were so few late dramas, after the last two editions with many late dramas and victims, I expected more burned engines, but overall, good disciplin in the field, with few guys taking stupid risks from my seat. I had one hairy moment around lap 70 though, I think it was Simon suddenly running slow on the backstretch, whom I saw a little late, because I had shifted my attention for a moment to the things behind me, Austin or Aaron about to lap me, and when I looked back ahead, there was that thing crawling on my line... . Anyways, we all got by unscathed. A few body parts now sore, but well, finally a '500 in the books!

Until halfway through the race I had a reasonable pace, I started to get back pain that was sapping my strength, I lacked lumbar support and that ruined me. Then my pace slowed down and with the pain getting worse, I started making small mistakes until a stronger touch on the wall punctured the front tire and when looking for the pit, I forgot to disable the repairs. 144 seconds were lost and with that, the position for Michael. One consolation was that I managed to finish the race.

Feel a bit upset with myself, someohow i lost track of my own laps, and ended up saving way too much fuel. Could have fought at last for the podium but oh well. Live and learn! Congrats to Anders, Juha and Coxon, great races, and to all the finishers. Looks like this time i was too easy on the lof of you with reliability

First Indy in the books for me! I couldn't really find a (race)setup which would give me speed and mileage; I don't know how you guys get the mileage with the speed you're doing. I really had to turn the engine up in the beginning of the race to stay in the middle pack which hurt my economy badly and had to come in pretty early. Somehow I must have picked up some damage because my pitcrew began to repair my car unnecessarely which cost me 60 seconds and my place on the lead lap. After that it was just making sure I could make it to the end within the regulated fuel limit. Happy to have finished, but a lot to learn pace wise.

First off, thanks for the enthralling race! Never a dull moment driving these things. I knew it would be a very big challenge trying to pull the vintage eagle up to fight the McLarens and newer Gurneymobiles, and I was very right. Despite a lot of effort on the setup and a lot of laps testing fuel strategy, there was no way to keep pace over a stint. I was happy to be running p3 by the third stop, trading blows with Nico.
Then we get to the pit stop itself and trip over each other like a pair of stooges, I turn across him expecting him to have stayed unreasonably far right and luckily he snuck by without contact– on his screen. I'm not sure how badly he damaged my car but the crew diligently went to work for two whole minutes, taking me out of the running and dropping me to 20th place on lap 89— 3 laps down. I'm not sure if I needed the damage fixed but there's no way to cancel it and there's no way I was going to remember to toggle it off while I was scrambling to get in my box. Frustrated, but undeterred from the incident, I set my sights on Austin and a top 10, to have something to aim for.
I readjusted my strategy and ran full effort stints, 28 laps for each one to the end of the race. I passed Anders and followed John Thim for the rest of the stint following the incident. I put my head down and was as aggressive as I could comfortably be with traffic and passing for position, and I started picking up spots. I eventually caught Austin, flying passed the ancient eagle and coming to the final stop I cycled up to 9th, way ahead of schedule but unsurprisingly still two laps down.
On my final stop, I had a lapse of concentration and slid sideways in pit lane, losing 20 seconds but retaining 10th. With a 20+ second gap to 9th I tried to put in the best laps possible to catch Fredriksson but it wasn't in the cards, I ended up 3 laps down in 10th. Despite the calamity I'm very proud of the drive today, this car was never going to win against this crop of drivers and I'm pleased with how everyone was racing on track. Not a bad first race with ISO!
