OMG F1 Challenge, those were the days! Funny that it had rain, same as GTR2, and yet rFactor didn't. But I'm old enough to remember SCGT so go figure. Anyway, nice video and I liked the music a lot, what's the theme? |

Drift legends I would say GPL was drifting... I heard it said once that for all its qualities, there was a flaw in the Papyrus engine that resulted in drifting not making you loose as much speed as it should. Hence drifting was the way to be fast in GPL. It also appears that that same flaw even made it into the initial early versions of iRacing. The GPL-crowd was soon on to that and in early iRacing races, you could soon see people drifting like mad.
Well, that is what I was told once, at least.
"Was" is the right word... the community there fixed it by lots and lots of backwards engineering |

I used to love these movies when they would appear on Racesimcentral
Loved the build up from GLPEA as a new car was about to be released.
I would spend the whole night on dial up downloading the preview videos.
Still have yours on an old hard drive. Loved the backing the car out of the transporter. |

Niels basically saying he implemented a very similar tire temperature behaviour in this GT3 to the one i did for F1 91.
Also, if you go to the beginning of the video, he rips to pieces the GT3s from RF2.
