Technically, I could race. But yesterday evening, I suddenly had a big migraine and that nearly turned my stomach in the night. I've also not turned a single lap.
And because of that(mainly), it's for the best and out of respect for the drivers that practiced that I stay out of it. Even if that means I'll lose the car now.
But better that than being a nuissance out on track.

- Qualifying starts in 1 hr 40 mins. Thought i'd remind the Americas since our clocks over in Europe still haven't gone forward.
- Remember, once you join the official qualifying, do not leave and rejoin unless it is an emergency.
- Tow back to the pits will be OFF. So ESC out after your qualifying run. BUMP.

To sum it up for me, good qualifying, very bad race. The car got away from me in the chicane and I hit the wall of champions.

Had a average Q (for my standards)
I had a short race, someone was very slow in the outside of t2, didn't saw him and when I saw him I couldn't avoid him anymore

A bad qualifying, and a very short race for me. Victor didn't get off the line, Richard avoids him, there's contact with Brian and I run into Brian. Suspension bent, game over.

Thank you for this amazing race!! I had a big battle for a ninth position with Ray. He must had stopped in the pits and I had enough time to pass him. I tried to avoid the stop, so my tires were almost orange at their resistance level. I wasn't sure if the tires were going to resist, so it was just a matter of being constant. Ray made a mistake 5 or 4 laps before the race ended, so he gave me the calm to not to destroy those tires. Thank you again, and sorry if I annoyed somebody!

Yeah sorry for that i Really struggle to start the car again... But anyway my race was good, began to really push after some laps, trying to manage my tires, but sadly i clipped the white stripes and then my back tyres run into the grass, spin, crash, and that was over. Such a shame because i love this Montreal track...ballsy last corner, with my pace no way to catch some points i think... Will try to finish the race in my half home circuit in Mexico and maybe score a point ! Lets see !

Nice race, had a lot of fun driving a trimmed car in this track. I couldn't take anything more from the car, driving supersoft the entire race. Unfortunately the engine didn't last, I was very surprised about the failure. After 11 months without retiring now 2 in a row!! hahahaha There is always a next race! Thanks ISO! Great broadcast Jason, Alberto e Jonathan Congratulation to Grant. I was about time mate!! Well deserved win. Great fight for 2nd place in the end if Del Piccolo was a little bit behind at the hairpin he would have done it. See you next race!!!!

Well this feels good Not gonna lie... this week got of to a bad start Monday after being confirmed positive for COVID-19. Practising for long periods of time was a hassle until Friday and I could finally sit down and put some laps under my belt. Heard a lot of people say brakes are the biggest problem here. Well... mine and Jaques was fuel haha we had to save for about 30 laps to make the finish. This cost me 4-6 tenths per lap in time due to lift and coast. So after qualifying and starting 2nd I knew the first half the race was conservative for me to be able to show my true pace. Thankfully I didnt need to do that. Following Pascal I saw a wing fly off in the distance and knew my race plan changed. I could now just work on my fuel and brakes and conserving them after Pascal went into an early pit stop. For the rest of the race I literally just paced myself and kept and eye on the gap between me and Pascal. I felt comfortable managing this as had another 4-7 tenths a lap in the car. After winning my first race since I believe May last year this is a total relief for me, and winning here in the Brabham was a big boost, not been the best start to 2020 for me personally and also sim racing wise. But I like to think I have learnt a hell of a lot since round 1.. Brazil I learnt tires really do need to be managed. Imola I learnt brakes really do need to be managed. Monaco I learnt stable FPS is a must All in all.. over the frikking moon!

Fun Race, Happy to make it to the end Set the wings too high trying to not burn the brakes, which made me too slow down the straights and made it tight with fuel (0.3l in the tank over the line). More testing needed for Mexico

Will post a full race analysis on my behalf tomorrow, I'm honestly too strung out and probably a bit angry still to do so.
TL;DR: Had the pace to win, should have won, but lap 24 happened. Fought back up to 2nd, hit the wall, defended the last couple laps, apparently angered del Piccolo, will probably get a race ban for Mexico given my luck.
In other news, congratulations Grant! Not sure what you're doing with that Brabham but you really gave me a run for my money while it lasted! Well done!

Didnt know you hit me, or feel anything hated to move to left but nowhere to go because of parked car. Sorry to be a part of that Great job Oscar! I was taking for granted making a pass on the Modena, I was pretty clumsy but you fought hard and clean. Also hope I didnt create much stress being lapped, pace difference wasnt great at times and had some difficulty finding smooth place to let people through without losing tons of time. Remembering DelPiccolo and Wilks in particular Congrats Grant. Be well Any update? Hope you're alright

Loved the race, but terrible car.
It was good in the corners but lost so much time on the straights.
Tried to hang on and ride along, tried and succeeded to keep away from passing cars, and gave them space where needed (even going very wide into the hairpin)
Apologies to Mikula: i was going to move to the left before the corner to let you pass but i then missed a gear and by trying to get it back into gear, i slowed down too much for you to react.
Can't wait for next race at Mexico.

Not the easiest car to make your Debut here, but glad you are sticking around Kayo As for my race, was incredibly hard to keep the pace of the front runners, so i just slowly fell behind after passing a few cars in the beginning. At the end i spun, had to pit for tires, and that made for an exciting end of the race duel with Anders!

Well that was hard work last night. I knew that driving the Modena was going to be trying. That said, qualifying and the opening laps of the race it felt surprisingly good, I was able to bother a handful of cars that the Modena had no right being close to at all. That said, I had to run mediums as otherwise I suffered pretty severe overheating (more on that later). So as the race wore on and people got quicker my poor old Modena stayed at roughly the same pace. Only ever gaining 2.5 seconds on the pace I was able to do starting out. Eventually I pit (lap 57 or so), and decided that maybe now was the time to try the supersoft and gain some pace, show what times the car could do. The tyres overheated immediately, I spun and damaged the car and ended up 6 laps down instead of the 3 I was before. All that said and done I got the Modena home in 12th, I believe the best finish for a Modena in this championship and potentially the best, or one of the best, finishes for a "tier 5" manufacturer. Thanks all for the racing, particularly Brian in the Minardi. It was massive fun scrambling to keep you behind for as long as possible, did make me miss a gear eventually. Here is to hoping I have a Minardi of my own next time out Good fun, hard work, pretty silly last few laps from me but otherwise a good if a little quiet drive at the back. See you all next time and congrats to Grant on what sounded like a much worked for win.

I participated in the race for sheer stubbornness. Stricken by a strong torticollis, with a very sore neck, I was even honored and relieved to have endured 27 laps before hitting the wall of the champions. It was a lot of pretension on my part to think I could finish the race.

Well done! To be fair, this is about the most accurate description of my race I could bring up. Anyway, some things people don't know - I was running soft tyres in the front and supersofts in the rear. This pair of tyres was able to last up to 60 laps on my long runs. If I hadn't run into Kayo on lap 24, I would've stopped between lap 45-55 dependant on my times. Like, 50 laps-old tyres would've still given my about the same pace as fresh ones, not gonna lie. Plus, I could push a lot more with my brakes than on my practice run, since the brake wear was way lower than what I expected. So, the only driver who was really on my pace for the whole race was Grant. We were faster than everyone else and he was the only one who was able to challenge me for the win, so it's just right that he won the race instead of me. He simply didn't run into anyone. About that incident on lap 24, I'm sure I could've/should've waited a little more before lapping, but it seems my reflexes failed me and I saw a gap where there wasn't one. So, I'm sorry for having run into your back with such brute force, Kayo. DJ, Anders, myself and Timo were in TeamSpeak, so we had a way to communicate should something happen. Timo was generous enough to let us know when the back of the grid was done with the last chicane, so we wouldn't have to wait too long on the grid. When I fell back and did my comeback of the century or something, Anders asked about three times "Is that you in the Tyrrell flying towards me?", even when we were "fighting" for position, but he didn't resist much, even though he could have. So that was very sporting of him. Then, on lap 65 or so, I hit the "Wall of Champions" and I hope that's a good omen for me. Anyway, it was Monaco all over again but worse. I couldn't drive straight if I tried! Anyway, I defended against del Piccolo and I did have to brake incredibly early for the last chicane because my steering wheel was tilted like 45 degrees to the right if I wanted to go straight, so I couldn't really turn right. So I can understand that he'd be annoyed at not being able to pass a broken car but that surely wasn't a reason to ram and block me after the race. And this paragraph right here is pretty much the reason I'm concerned about either having my points stripped or facing a ban for Mexico, even though I'm sure I didn't do anything wrong. Or I'm just looking too much into the fact the race results havent been posted yet and the points haven't been updated yet. On to Mexico? I hope so.

After kissing the wall of champions, I saw the race for the transmission that was fantastic. You gave a pilot show. I see no reason for such a severe punishment against you. The fight was tough, but nothing different from the one you had in Monaco with Richard.

Yeah, that's the issue. Remember the ruling from Monaco, I got a suspended race ban for repeatedly having hit Richard. I mean, I didn't hit Gabriele or anything, all I did was defend my position but given the story from Monaco, I'm seriously concerned. Who knows what happens. I honestly hope that there will be no penalty or anything.
Well, you're not the only one. I got a message or two with the same kind of content, so I hope that the admins see it that way, too.
