The following drivers still have to confirm their presence for the Time Trials: Jukka Maattanen, Brian Janik and Ernest Mróz. I'd also like to remind people the (provisional) time trial schedule is available in the opening post of this thread (click on Live Timing and Scoring), and of the rule which allows drivers who cannot make their scheduled time to negotiate a swap with another driver. This change has to be submitted to the admins before Time Trials begin on May 10th. The qualifying schedule will then be updated accordingly.

I Want to be there but, Still cant commit due to lack of freetime.
There aren't any pace car periods here...Yellows and random lucky finishes are the main element of USA oval showbiz(racing.) ie Trenton Normally, still fun spending hours in the parade just to see what happens and be a part of it, but real life pressing me to choose wisely where to spend time. Unfortunately pushing my confirmation til last minute Sorry

Brian, There will be a fuel limit in the race, so this won't be a parade for sure.
So altough there are no yellows, there will be for sure some management.

i'm out of this one. the car doesn't do what it's supposed to do and whatever i throw at it, doesn't stick. and i sure as hell am not going to spend multiple hours just to end up frustrated because either the car doesn't turn in or it tries to kill me whenever it does.
tl;dr: i'm out

You haven't driven the cars in the whole year and after 21 laps and on a 46.99 give up? Well, your choice mate.

my fastest time was a 47.12 and even then i never managed to replicate that - and I did drive these cars, remember Pocono? but yeah, I think at some point when nothing as far as adjusting setup or even driving style bears any fruit, it's time to take the L instead of being more and more frustrated
edit: actually now i remember after pocono i said i'd never ever drive these 1974 cars again which i now understand even more

I'm going to drop out of this as well. I know there have been some races that were just a slog through the constant yellows, but I also agree that the yellows, pace car periods, and the random nature of luck (or lack thereof) is very much a large part of oval racing. Without them, my car stands no chance at much of anything, I think (no, I haven't had time to spend much effort on it as of late)..and though I love running, regardless of position, I'm afraid I cannot commit because of these things and it would just be better if I go ahead and sign out rather than be a burden to others. GL to all, and I'll be watching the broadcast.

The fuel is going to pack things up a lot, and there were both that limitation and a lack of traditional yellows in the real race. They were using the electro-pacer system, which was intended to keep the distance between cars during caution periods. Best thing we can do to replicate it is keeping the distance between cars at race pace, and we will always strive for realism. Enjoy the broadcast then
